Kun Khmer is more than a martial art; it is believed to have originated from the ancient battlefield tactics of the military during the Khmer Empire period and it has been a part of Cambodian culture for centuries.

Kun Khmer’s significance extends far beyond its effective techniques. It stands as a proud testament to Cambodia’s spirit. It’s a vibrant expression of heritage, faith, and tradition, passed down through generations. Kun Khmer consists of four types of strikes: punches, kicks, elbows and knee strikes. Kun Khmer fighters tend to utilize more elbow strikes than those of other martial arts in the region.
